Manzz Multi-functional Interfacial Agent

Product Introduction

Manzz multi-functional interfacial agent is a two-component slurry, which is made of environment-friendly acrylic lotion as the liquid material, inorganic binder and a variety of fillers and additives as the powder in the specified proportion. When used as an interface treatment agent, it can significantly improve the interface and enhance the adhesion.

★ Waterproof coating for kitchen and bathroom walls;

★ Surface treatment of old ceramic tile flooring before renovation;

★ Used for interface treatment on the back of tiles, vitrified tiles, stone, etc. before tiling;

★ Indoor and outdoor concrete structures, cement mortar surface, cement fiberboard, brick wall structures

Interface treatment before applying dry powder putty.

Usage parameters

For interface processing, when brushing the back or base of the brick once: 0.5~0.8kg/m2;

When applied twice for wall waterproofing: 0.8~1.2kg/m2;

Base treatment

① The base surface should be stable and clean, with a strength of M15 or above. Loose base surfaces that cannot reach a certain strength must be shoveled and re coated with cement mortar. Pores and sand holes must be filled with cement mortar.

① The back of the brick must be clean and free of oil stains, otherwise it needs to be roughened, and surfaces that have undergone other waterproof treatments should also be roughened.

Construction technology

Material mixing:

Pour the liquid material into a clean container, add the powder material according to the recommended weight ratio (liquid material: powder material=1:2.33), stir with an electric mixer to form a uniform slurry, let it stand for 5 minutes, and stir again for later use.

Interface construction:

① Use a brush or roller to evenly coat a clean, sturdy, and solid base surface. If the base surface needs to have waterproof function, cross coat it for the second time after the first coat dries, without missing any brushes.

② As a backing adhesive for ceramic tiles: Use a brush to evenly apply the slurry on the back of low water absorbing materials such as tiles, vitrified tiles, and stone. Immediately stick the tiles with tiling material or dry for 24 hours before sticking the tiles with tiling material.

Interface maintenance:

When used for wall and floor interface treatment, the applied interface agent should be cured for about 12 hours (temperature 25 ℃, humidity below 85%). Under low temperature, high humidity or no ventilation conditions, the curing time should be extended before proceeding to the next process.

precautions

① Stone, vitrified tiles, ceramic tiles, etc. have a weight that is not consistent with the base surface, and are prone to deformation due to thermal expansion and contraction. When pasting ceramic tiles of 800 × 800cm or more on the wall indoors, it is recommended to first use mechanical anchoring to connect with the wall and use Manzz Quick Shibao strong ceramic tile adhesive to paste.

② It is not recommended to directly paste tiles with a size of 300 × 300cm or more on two or more outdoor floors to prevent accidents such as tile hollowing and falling due to insufficient local strength of the exterior wall, failure to operate according to specifications, or failure to meet construction conditions.

③ This product can be used as a waterproof slurry for bathroom and kitchen walls, but it needs to be cross coated twice without any leakage. It is recommended to first use Manzz Leak Stopper Guard to treat the floor and pipe openings, and then use Manzz Flexible Waterproof Slurry for other floors.

④ This product should be used at a temperature of 5-40 ℃, and outdoor construction is not allowed on rainy days.

⑤ Strictly mix according to the proportion, and it is strictly prohibited to add additional water or other materials. After mixing the slurry evenly, it should be used in a timely manner. It is strictly prohibited to mix it again after initial setting.

⑥ Before the construction of absorbent substrates, the base surface needs to be wetted, but there is no visible water allowed.
